Grain drying

Smoke outlet
Can be ordered on the right or left side, on the top or on the backside.

Cover plates
The heater for grain drying are covered with electroplated steel plates on the outside. Insulation: Cover plates are insulated with 30 mm mineral wool on the inside.

Corner posts
Heaters from type V-550 are delivered with air cooled corner posts.

Burner
The heaters are delivered for oil or gas. The burner must be in high/low or modulating execution.

Fan section
Is delivered separately for mounting underneath the heat exchanger section. Can be delivered in a closed execution for canal connection or with inlet nets.

Fans
Are mounted according to each system, so that capacity and pressure always are most optimal for the drying process.

Air temperature max 80o C type V
The flame from the oil/gas burner heats up the combustion chamber and the following convection pipes. The process air, which needs to be heated, is supplied by the heaters fan. The air is passing by the heat exchanger and gradually absorbs the heat energy from here, so that the process air temperature rises, while the smoke gasses are cooled down. The heat exchanger’s construction makes sure, that the energy from the burner is used at the best, which gives a very high efficiency.

Air temperature max 130oC type HT
The heater is made with double cover. The process air is sucked in along the heaters side- and back plate. Hereby the air is preheated, before it reaches the fan and the final heating is completed over the heat exchanger, as in a standard heater. By this execution you can obtain a process air temperature up to 150o C. By preheating the air, the heater keeps the high efficiency even by high air temperatures.

Control panels

DANHEAT control panels
The control panel must first of all make sure, that the process air is supplied to the dryer with the right temperature. But also other functions are important to secure the heaters function and time of living. 

  1. When the heaters starts up cold, the heat supply must be limited until the operating temperature has been reached. This is to prevent any unnecessary load on the steel plates so that no shock cracks appears.
  2. The fans are connected phased, so that the start circuit does not overload the electrical circuit.
  3. The fans must not be able to stop without after-cooling the heat supply after the oil/gas burner is disconnected.
  4. The burner must not be able to connect if a failure appears on the fan.
  5. The control panel must show the actual operating or disfault status.
  6. The control panel must be able to start and stop externly.
  7. The control panel must show the actual operating or disfault status externly.

Of course Danheat control panels fulfill all these demands. Besides this the control panels can be mounted with components, so that is fulfills the demands for just your heating need.

Wood drying

How to get optimal wood drying

Drying wood has until now been associated with a very high energy consumption. In cooperation with Silkeborg Pallefabrik A/S, DANHEAT A/S has developed a system whereby the drying process can be optimized and the energy consumption is reduced significantly.

Drying of wood has hitherto been associated with a very high energy consumption, but by means of a recycling principle in the drying cabinet, where fresh air is only supplied during periods when the relative humidity is so high that the air cannot "carry" more water.

In a conventional drying plant, constantly heated fresh air is applied, which is immediately sucked out, this is very energy-intensive, as the air in this system is not steam-fired with major energy losses. At the recirculation system, not only is the heating energy reduced, but it also saves on electricity consumption. To a plant that can dry approx. 600 EUR pallets, the installed electric load is only 25 kW.

In other words, it is common sense to invest in a plant, and our specialists are advised to provide advice.

Electrical control

Description electrical control
When the control is switched on, the temperature sensor registers the discharge temperature from the exchanger.

If the temperature is higher than the temperature setpoint set on the temperature controller, signal is sent to the 3/2 way control valve to increase the cooling water flow.

If the discharge temperature drops, the control valve will correspondingly reduce the flow of cooling water.

If there are deviations of more than 2 gr C at the current outlet temperature and the temperature set.

Accessories
Alternatively, in addition to the components described above, the switch can be fitted with: Temperature regulator with alarm function: The sensors detect the temperature of return water and replacement water, if an error occurs between the two temperatures, an alarm is given.

Connection pressure switch for differential pressure's pressure switch, as well as for differential pressure switches that emit alarm, if deposits begin to stop the heat exchanger.

Mobile drying fan

Mobile drying fans are suitable for temporary ventilation tasks, drying and aeration.

DANHEAT's mobile drying fans provide a fast and flexible solution to tasks where periodic ventilation is required.

The fans have a very high air performance and are particularly suitable for ventilation (drying) of eg. potatoes, carrots and other root crops, as well as cooling a possible. chocolate stock.

The fans are also suitable for stall cleaning, where ventilation of a building must be quickly established.

The fan socket is made of rolled steel plate with welded motor console for optimum strength.

The fan unit is mounted in a solid steel frame. The entire unit is ground and lacquered with black polyester lacquer.

The device is provided with a plastic wrap in fiberglass reinforced material. The wing is dynamically balanced and is resistant to most aggressive gases.

All models are fitted with protective gratings on the inlet and outlet.

Connection is via external terminal box, encased IP65, equipped with 2-pole switch.

All engines are encapsulated IP65, Insulation class F and fitted with thermal protection.

All engines, except engines for size 630, are suitable for stepless regulation.

The air direction is standard wing motor.

Also available in 3x230 / 400 V.

Air temperatures from -400C to + 700C.
